Port Blair, Aug 26: The A & N Police have intensified regular and effective patrolling in each village and market area and keeping a sharp vigil on the anti-social elements to prevent any untoward incident including corrupt practices by the contestants in election. A police team comprising HC/1688 J.K.K.Naidu and police party while on patrolling and surveillance at Krishna Nagar, Havelock noticed one person namely Subit Roy R/o Krishna Nallah carrying a heavy bag on Tuesday. He was chased and caught red handed with 36 bottles of IMFL. He was arrested on the spot and a case under Excise Regulation was registered at police station Havelock.
