Port Blair, Aug 25: The NCC Junior Division (Army & Air Force) cadets of GSSS Bhatubasti and GSSS Nirmala led by ANO Third Officer Dhuryodhan Rao, Second Officer Prakash Toppo, PI Staff of NCC Unit Cpl R Yadav and Hav T Gandhi participated in Clean India Mission in the school premises on Tuesday. The cadets actively took part in the cleanliness drive and set an example by dumping all the garbage collected in dustbins. They were apprised about the importance of “Clean India Mission” and the harmful effects caused by plastic waste to the environment including marine life. The cadets were educated and reminded of their responsibility in practicing the same in their localities also to achieve the “Clean India Mission”. Refreshments were also distributed to the cadets on completion.
