Port Blair, Aug 11: The Coast Guard Station, Kamorta in coordination with ICGS Varad and local administration conducted a medical camp for the local tribes of Kakana and Pilpillowat Kamorta recently. Altogether, 150 tribal including 30 women and 38 children attended the camp. The Commanding Officer ICGS Varad inaugurated the camp in the presence of Commanding Officer, ICGS Kamorta and respective village captains. A lecture was also delivered by Medical Officer ICGS Varadto to the local tribes on preventive measures to be taken during monsoons to prevent spread of diseases.
