Port Blair, Aug 10: A Bangladeshi National was picked up for questioning by the police department from Bhatu Basti area yesterday.
The said person, Mr. Rahul Islam was picked up following complaints that he was performing magic tricks on road and later he was handed over to Immigration Department.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha a senior officer of Police Department today said that the person was picked up for questioning following some suspicion about his visa documents but later all documents were found to be correct and therefore he was allowed to go.
Sources told Andaman Sheekha that the same person is visiting Andaman on tourist visa but is showing magic tricks in streets. Sources added that the person reached Andaman from Kolkata.
