Port Blair, April 29: The First Lady of the Islands, Smti Suneeti Singh who is an ardent animal lover visited today Veterinary Hospital, Junglighat. She visited the OPD, X. Ray Unit, Ultra Sonography facility and the Laboratory attached to the hospital as well as the newly renovated Operation Theatre.
Few Animal Birth Control Operations both in female dogs and Cats were also in progress. The First Lady also interacted with the Pet Owners and shared her experience on care and prevention of disease in the pets. The Pet Owners were pleasantly surprised and enthusiastic to see the First Lady at the Veterinary Hospital and were delighted at getting useful advice on care of pets from the First Lady.
Later on, while interacting with the doctors and staff at the Veterinary Hospital, she advised them for conducting regular programmes for educating the Pet Owners on care &management of pets for preventing diseases and also to ensure well being of the pet animals. Smti Suneeti Singh expressed happiness that the hospital is well maintained and good Veterinary health care services are provided.
