Mayabunder, Apr 06: The college annual day-cum-prize giving ceremony of Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder was held in the college auditorium on 4th April 2015 in which, the Principal, JNRM, Dr. Iqbal Ahmad was the chief guest while IT personnel Smti Nishkala Krishna Rao was the guest of honour. The Deputy Education Officer, Shri Mammen Thomas, Mayabunder and the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Rampur, Shri Thomson, were the special guests.
In his address, the chief guest appreciated the developmental works being taken up in the college along with academic, cultural and sports excellence of the students in the few preceding years.
The Principal, M.G.Govt.College, Mayabunder Dr.R.N.Rath presented a brief view of the academic, cultural and infrastructural development of the college and lauded the role of the teaching staff and students for cooperating in achieving many of the targets during his tenure.
Prizes were given to almost 250 winners of different categories, a communication said.
