Port Blair, Apr 01: On the demand of the villagers of Prothrapur Gram Panchayat, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Adhyaksha, Zila Parishad, Secretary (RD) along with other Senior Officers of A&N Administration have visited the Prothrapur Panchayat and conducted joint inspection of rural roads and drinking water facilities which are mostly in dilapidated condition.
The team also interacted the inhabitants of the area and patiently lessoned their problems and difficulties expressed by them. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration reportedly assured the gathered to restore the facilities within three months.
The Chief Secretary has further fixed a meeting on 06.04.2015 at 10.00 hrs in his chamber with concerned Secretaries/Heads of department for detailed discussion in the matter raised by the Member of Parliament and to expedite the issue.
