Port Blair, Mar 27: Andaman & Nicobar Command has once again committed itself to improvement of quality of life in these islands by setting up Passenger Reservation System (PRS) facility within the premises of 408 MC/MF Det at Dilanipur, opposite Andaman Teel House on 27 Mar 15. Soldiers from all three services have been pooled in and trained on the system to function as the operating staff. The facility can be used by all Defence Staff as well as all civilians also. The amenities provided in PRS would make the experience of the subscriber a pleasurable one.
The facility was inaugurated by Maj Gen PK Siwatch, Chief of Staff, Andaman & Nicobar Command. Dy Chief Commercial Manager, Eastern Railways Mr Baskey was also present on the occasion. Andaman & Nicobar Command is thankful to Indian Railways Eastern Division for their support and cooperation.
