Port Blair, Mar 11: It is brought to the notice of the general public that there was interruption in power supply from 0130 hrs. on the midnight of 11.3.2015 to till 1415 hrs. of 11.3.2015, at the surrounding of Haddo, Delanipur, Buniyadabad, All India Radio and part of Prem Nagar area. The interruption in power supply at above area was due unexpected failure of underground cable at some portion at Haddo/Buniyadabad.
The fault has since been rectified by the engineers and staff of the Electricity Department and normal power supply has been restored by afternoon of 11.3.2015 at 1415 hrs. The inconvenience cause is regretted.
