Port Blair, Feb 23: Two people sustained serious injuries when their bikes collided head-on near Sippighat Water Sports area yesterday at about 2.30 pm.
According to reports, a couple was coming from Garacharma area and was heading towards Tushnabad while in another bike, which was going towards Bazaar, there were two young boys of 19 and 14 years.
According to sources, the 19 year old boy while overtaking a truck came infront of the other bike, which resulted in this accident.
A team of Humphrygunj Police immediately reached the spot and took the injured persons to the G.B.Pant hospital.
Both the bike riders sustained serious injuries. While the rider of the first bike is still in ICU, the 19 year old boy suffered fracture in his leg and is admitted in G B Pant Hospital.
