Port Blair, Jan 30: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to three employees of the Council, who superannuated from government service on 31-01-2015. At a simple function held in the chamber of the Chairperson, PBMC cheques of all retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits were handed over to SmtiP. Chinna, WCM, Estt. Section, Shri R. Periyan, Sr. Supervisor, Sanitary Section and Shri Anwar Hussain, Cleaner, Mechanical Section. Senior officials of the Council were also present on the occasion.
In his address, Shri M Arumugam, PBMC Chairperson recalled the valuable services rendered to the Council by the three employees and wished them happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the three employees on the occasion.
