Port Blair, Jan 04: Keeping in view the traffic demand, the Department of Civil Aviation, A & N Administration has decided to increase the frequency of flights to Havelock.
Accordingly, as per the new schedule, there will be daily two flights to Havelock. For Neil Island the helicopter will operate twice a week on every Tuesday and Saturday. For Mayabunder it will be available on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. For Diglipur on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and for Rangat on every Thursday.
Similarly, for Katchal, the services will be available on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For Teressa it will be on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while for Chowra it will be on Monday and Tuesday. For Carnicobar, Campbell Bay, Kamorta & Hutbay there will be weekly 6 flights from Monday to Saturday. The new schedule will be effective from 5th January, 2015.
