Port Blair, Dec 03: To celebrate the ‘World Disabled Day-2014’, a programme was organized today the 3rd December, 2014 at GSS Nimbutala school ground for the Children With Special Need (CWSN) studying in various schools up to class VIII under Middle Andaman Educational Zone.
On the occasion, various competitions like sports and painting competitions were organized for the CWSN. There were 49 CWSN participated in this competitions and their parents accompanied them. All students took part in all the event enthusiastically.
To encourage CWSN students all the participating students were awarded prizes, supplied refreshment and lunch to all students and parents on this occasion. They have also been provided with Transport Allowance. The PSRTs Shri Rabindo Biswas and Shri Ratan Mandal of Rangat Zone work hard to make the day success with help of other staffs.
On the occasion, Shri Sushen Mallick, Deputy Education Officer, Rangat Middle Andaman inaugurated the programme at 8.30 am. While addressing to the CWSN students he encourages the students to take part in the various competitions organized for them. He morally boosted up the CWSN students to establish them in the life. He also requests the parents of the students to develop confidence among their children to compete and establish in the society.
Shri Abdul Salim, Head Master, GSS Nimbutala also spoke on the occasion and he also thanks all the participants and the parents for being the part of the celebration World Disable Day.
