Port Blair, Nov 17: The convenor, Aam Aadmi Party, Sanjay Meshack requested the Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, to give upper age limit relaxation for recruitment of candidate for the post as published in the Daily Telegram for the post of Sub Inspector and Police Radio Operator.
In a letter address to the Lt. Governor Mr. Meshack stated that the upper age limit for the post of SI and PRO is 30 years for general category, for OBC 33 years and for female 35 years. “The unemployment of local candidate is becoming critical and waiting for employment in government departments, which often causes delay for want of employment opportunities, as a result they cross the upper age limit of 30 years”.
