Kadamtala, Oct 27: Five people sustained minor injuries when a Tourist Bus today hit a police truck near No.9 turning of Kadamtala Village, Middle Andaman.
According to eye witnesses, the accident took place at around 9.30 am when the over-speed Tourist Bus ‘3 Star’, going towards Mayabunder, suddenly found a police truck coming from opposite direction at No. 9 turning.
Out of panic the bus driver reportedly applied brakes but the bus skidded and hit the truck.
Driver of both the vehicles sustained minor injuries, while three tourists inside the bus also suffered minor injuries. All injured were immediately rushed to Kadamtala Hospital. Rash Driving by Tourist bus driver, allegedly caused this accident.
