Port Blair, Oct 19: A 05 days In-service refresher Training for Primary School Teachers (Level-I) of Mayabunder Educational zone under SSA was conducted at BRC, Mayabunder with effect from 13/10/2014 to 17/10/2014 in a befitting manner.
Altogether 30 PSTs form the zone attended the training programme and they were made acquainted with various topics like RTE, CCE & developing skill in language, Maths & EVS by Resource persons of Mayabunder zone.
Resource Persons from the Department of Environment & Forest & Health also appraised the trainees with their power point presentations on Bio-Diversity and its conservation, Health & Hygiene respectively in a fruitful manner.
The feedback from the trainees were also obtained on the last day of programme. In the valedictory session, Shri. Mamman Thomas, BRC Co-ordinator (DEO), Mayabunder, reiterated the teachers to adopt innovative techniques/ approaches in the class for making teaching learning a joyful experience. The Programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Shri Johnson P John, Programme coordinator.
