Diglipur, Oct 17: The Congress unit of Diglipur today took a dig on today’s Hunger Strike. Speaking to Andaman Sheekha the General Secretary, Block Congress Committee Diglipur Mr. Rama Rao and Asit Bain today alleged that the Hunger Strike by the Member of Parliament at Diglipur was organized just to get political mileage.
Targeting the MP directly Mr. Bain alleged that just 24 hours back the MP had said that we will not get up (Uthenge Nahi, Uthenge Nahi, Uthenge Nahi) from Hunger Strike till the statue is re-installed at the same spot but within four hours the Hunger Strike ended without any major assurance.
“Everything was pre-planned. The MP utilized the forum to criticize Congress and Administration without any reason,” alleged Mr. Bain.
