Billyground, Oct 06: The Golden Jubilee Durga Puja was celebrated at Billiground this year. The celebration started on 30th September 2014 and ended on 5th October 2014.
During these five daylong celebration, variety of cultural programmes, Quiz competition etc were conducted at the Mandir premises. The President, Secretary of the Durgapuja Committe and Pradhan, Harinagar expressed their happiness to the villagers and all devotees for smooth and peaceful conduct of the Golden Jubilee celebration.
Today at 9 AM a large no of devotees including men and women participated in the immersion of the Idol of Goddess Durga.
The Committee expressed their gratefulness to the Police team of PS Billyground for their cooperation to the Puja Committee for maintaining law order during the Puja. Secretary of the Committee further expressed his gratitude to the Electricity Department and its worker those who extended all support round the clock.
