Port Blair, Aug 25: 15th Nirankari Blood Donation Camp organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation branch Port Blair held at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Junglighat, Port Blair on 24th August, 2014. The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society took blood from the Nirankari Volunteers.
The Zonal Incharge, West Bengal, Mr. Arjan Singh Ji, also attended the camp. He informed that the source of blood is only human body. Blood does not distinguish on the basis of cast and creed, it suits to every person. The colour of blood is red which cannot be changed with pressure of any religion. He also appraised the august gathering of the various humanitarian activities of the mission was undertaking at a global level.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Shri B.P. Ray Member of Parliament A & N Constituency, emphasized the importance of Satguru in our life who wish to go through right path in our life. He also appreciate the missions various social activities in an around Andaman Islands. Meanwhile, Shri Ray also appreciated the word of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that the blood should not flow in the street it should flow in the vein of the human body so let us donate blood earnestly in the interest of needful person.
Mean while Dr. Wajid Ali Senior Pathologist G.B. Pant Hospital, Port Blair also mentioned the importance of blood donation in the human life to save the life in danger. This was 15th Blood Donation Camp of SNM without break. He appreciated the good work & dedication by the Sant Nirankari Mission towards serving of the humanity.
Mr. R.S. Yadav, Mukhi, Port Blair branch, the Sant Nirankari Mandal thanked to the dignitaries present on the occasion. Altogether 105 volunteers registered their name and out of them 75 volunteers (22 female and 53 male) donated their blood.
