Port Blair, Aug 08: Many residents as well commuters crossing the Delanipur junction have approached the PCC chief to take-up the issue of installation of traffic signal at the junction which is one of the main junction of the city, as due to non availability of Traffic signal they are facing acute trouble in crossing the roads. Taking concern about the residents and other commuters Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Director General of Police to consider installation of traffic signal at Delanipur junction also. In his letter he has also appreciated the efforts of the Police Department for installing traffic signals at Goal Ghar and other important junctions in the city for controlling the traffic properly which have become very useful for the pedestrians as well as for those who are driving various vehicles.
