Port Blair, July 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands expressed its sincere thanks to Prime Minister of India Mr. Narender Modi and Mr. Nitin Gadakari, Minister of Surface & Transport for granting sanction for construction of 2 No. of Bridges one at Middle Strait and other at Gandhi Ghat (Kadamtala).
“Construction of these two bridges will enhance the Inter Island connectivity & It will reduce the time of Journey. It is also worth mentioning that the state leaders of BJP were constantly taking up this matter with our central leadership. In recent visit of our State President Mr. Vishal Jolly this matter was taken up with Surface & Transport Minister and Environment Minister, Mr. Prakash Javadekar. We also sincerely thanks to Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Chief Engineer, APWD and also to Member of Parliament,” Deepak Jha, State General Secretary of BJP said in a press release today.
