Bambooflat, July 17: A vehicle ferry MV North Bay today dangerously hit the Bambooflat Jetty at around 5.15 PM causing minor damages to 14 two wheelers.
According to reports following complaints a police team discussed the issue with the Master of the Vehicle Ferry who said that due to snapping of Remote Cable in engine room the boat went out of control and dashed the Bambooflat Jetty.
Later an inspection conducted by a technical team of DSS confirmed snapping of Remote Cable. No case was registered in this regard as it was just a technical accident.
