Port Blair, July 17: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) A. K. Singh, has sanctioned an amount of Rs 1 lakh as relief to the next-of-kin of Mr. Khagen Mistry, who was killed in a crocodile attack.
The unfortunate incident occurred when Mr. Khagen Mistry, 59 years, a resident of RK Pur, Hut Bay, went fishing at R K Pur Dam in the evening of 7th July 2014 and was attacked by a crocodile.
