Port Blair, July 15: The annual General Body meeting of the consumers Cooperative Stores was held on 13th July, 2014 at 10 am at Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam, Junglighat.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. RV Reddy, Chairman CCS who welcomed the participants and briefed the efforts taken by the present management for the betterment of the society.
Dr K Chandrasekhar, Secretary presented the Annual Administrative Report alongwith audited accounts of the society for the year 2012-13 and Budget for the year 2014-15. It was also informed to the members that the society has registered good amount of profit during the year 2013-14 after a long span of 12 years. In the said meeting it has been decided to distribute a gift item to the shareholders of the society.
Further the General body has decided to increase the limit for purchase rebate being extended to the members from Rs. 300/- to Rs. 500/- per month. RP Singh, Vice Chairman has proposed vote of thanks.
