Port Blair, Apr 26: Regional Sports Council’s Table Tennis tournament was held in the multipurpose hall of Netaji Stadium today. The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Naresh Chander Lall, former Table Tennis Champion at 9 am.
The Chairperson, PBMC, Mr. K. Ganeshan was the chief guest at closing ceremony at 3.30 pm. More than 50 players participated in the tournament, making it a grand tournament.
According to reports, Mr. Suresh Baroi won the Men’s single TT tournament while Ayush Kumar Singh was the runners up. In Men’s double Ayush Kumar Singh and Alok Bora defeated G Srinivas Raju and G Ravi Kumar.
Here in Women’s category Kausami Nath was the winner while Perly Nicolas was the runners’ up. One behalf of RSC, Mr. Rakesh Chander Lall organized the tournament.
