Port Blair, Apr 27: Inspector General VSR Murthy, PTM TM Commander Coast Guard Region(A&N) inaugurated married accommodation of Coast Guard District Headquarter No 9 on 27 Apr 14 in presence of Mrs. Jyoti Murthy, President Tatrakshika (A&N) and Commandant Arun Singh, Commander Coast Guard District Headquarter No 9(N&M) Andaman.
The newly built married accommodation is the part of new OTM and married accommodation for officers and personnel of Coast Guard at Diglipur. The project scope consists of Admin Building, MI Room, CSD Complex, CG Officer Mess, Enrolled personnel Inliving Block and Married Accommodation for officers and personnel.
IG Murthy expressed utmost satisfaction with the Ops infrastructure development of Coast Guard Station spread across the A&N Region in meeting the growing dynamics of maritime challenges. He also stressed that greater impetus is being given to infrastructure development in the region in order to provide a better quality of life to highly motivated Officers, Men and Civilians.
The COMCG (A&N) appreciated the dedicated efforts put in by the District Commander and MES authorities for fructifying the project into an excellent Defence Establishment by overcoming all odds faced. A communiqué received from Commandant Rajeev Sharma, PRO, Coast Guard.
