North & Middle Andaman goes out of Internet network coverage

Diglipur, Feb 21: It has been learnt that the undersea cable of BSNL at Middle Strait, which provides internet connectivity to entire North and Middle Andaman area have suffered heavy damaged for unknown reasons.
This has resulted in total blackout of internet in North and Middle Andaman since last four days. According to reports engineers are already at work and are trying to rectify the fault and probably now the BSNL will be replacing the entire cable as repair of the cable seems to be impossible.
Sources told Andaman Sheekha that this work make take another 7 to 10 days, which is certainly a very bad news for internet users of North and Middle Andaman, especially those who are dependent on Internet for their business.
