Port Blair, Feb 20: The long wait for movie lovers is over. Diviyum Talkies is ready for screening movies for Islanders from 27 February.
Addressing a press conference at Diviyum Talkies the owners of Diviyum Talkies Mr. L Murthy and Divakar told media persons that the Cinema Hall has two screens and hence, it can show two movies together. The first hall is Priyam which is having 110 seats while the second hall is known as Diviyum which is having 108 seats.
According to the owners in one screen they will be showing Hindi movie while in other screen regional movies will be screened. Initially there will be only two shows, which will be increased as per demand of public. According to Mr. L Murthy the first show will start at 2.30 pm and the second show will start at 6 pm in first screen while in second screen first show will be at 3.30 pm and second show will be at 7.30 pm.
The theatre will be inaugurated on 26th February by the Chief Secretary and the Member of Parliament while from 27th February the Hall will be opened for public.
