Port Blair, Feb 20: The Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman along with Up-Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman met the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands today and discussed various developmental issues pertaining to rural areas of South Andaman such as Indoor Multipurpose Stadium Nayapuram; Bridge from Bambooflat to Chatham; Dry dock at Shore Point; Ice Plant at Hope Town and Introduction of Cargo vessel to Neil Island as Vegetable cultivation season started.
The Lt. Governor assured to look into the matter and will do the needful at the earliest.
