Port Blair, Feb 12: On 27th January, a team led by ASI Rasheed and comprising of HC Sanjay, PCs Rakesh Toppo, Ashish Mallick, Mohd. Imran and M. Raja Rao raided a gambling den at Shadipur near ABC colony and arrested six persons (1) Paras Ram (62)yrs, R/o Shadipur, (2) V. Bishnu (36)yrs, R/o Shadipur, (3) C. Elango (28)yrs, R/o Shadipur, (4) Nithyanand Haldar (44)yrs, R/o Mazar Pahar, (5) Zainuddin (32)yrs, R/o Shadipur, (6) Zahid Ali (32) yrs, R/o Quarry Hill alongwith cash Rs.18000/-.
