Port Blair, Jan 23: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) A K Singh, today led the Islanders in paying tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 117th birth anniversary. At a simple function held at the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Marina Park Complex, the Lt Governor paid floral tributes to Netaji. Tributes were also paid by the Member of Parliament, Mr. B.P. Ray, Chief Secretary, Mr. Anand Prakash, Chairperson (PBMC), Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha (SA), Chairperson (SSWB), members of PBMC, PRI members, prominent citizens and the general public.
