Port Blair, Dec 18: A five day Mela in the memory of Khudiram Bose was inaugurated this evening by the Commander Coast Guard, Diglipur Mr. Arun Singh at Khudirampur village of Diglipur. SHO (in-charge) Diglipuir Mrs. Shabana Haneef also graced this occasion. This mela is being organized in the memory of Great freedom fighter Khudiram Bose. During this ceremony, floral tributes were offered to the bust of Freedom fighter Khudiram Bose by Commander Coast Guard, Diglipur, Mr. Arun Singh SHO (incharge) Diglipur Mrs.Shabana Haneef, Pradhan Diglipur Mr. M.Ramachandran, and other villagers. Later a colourful cultural programme was presented by the student’s and villagers.
