Port Blair, Nov 05: The Directorate of Tourism proposes to frame guidelines for safety operation of helmet diving/under sea walk in the Islands. The draft guidelines framed in consultation with related departments is available in Tourism department website www.andamans.gov.in.
In a press release the Director of Tourism Department today said that Tourists/general public/tourism service providers and sea walk operators in the island are requested to go through the draft guidelines and offer their comments/suggestions if any with regard to the provisions in the draft guidelines, in writing or by email to the Director (Tourism), A&N Administration, Port Blair, Pin-744101, Tele fax: 03192-230933, email:andamantourism.ipt@gmail.com on or before 10/11/2013.
“If no comments are received within the due date, the department will finalize the draft guidelines for adoption for sea walk operations in the islands,” the release added.
