Port Blair, Nov 05: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, made a request for grant of financial assistance from the Lt. Governor’s relief fund for the medical treatment at mainland hospital for Mr. Pushpa Tigga W/o Late Mr. Sukh Sai Ekka R/o Junglighat, Port Blair, vide his letter dated 19/09/2013.
Now, the Lt. Governor’s Secretariat (Raj Niwas) vide their letter dated 01/11/2013 has informed the MP that an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) has been sanctioned as one time relief from the Lt. Governor’s relief fund to Mr. Pushpa Tigga facilitating his treatment at mainland hospital.
The Member of Parliament has expressed his gratitude to the Lt. Governor for releasing the fund.
