Port Blair, Jul 29: Mr. P.B. Murugan, Chairperson, PBMC and Mr. Rakesh Bali, Secretary, PBMC visited the Joggers’ Park at 10.00 a.m. today along with the officers of the Council. During the inspection the Chairperson observed that the existing footpaths are very narrow and therefore it was decided to widen the existing pedestrian/footpath to 1.5 Mtrs and to provide required tiles on the paths. It was also decided to complete the work of the snack bar at the earliest. The Chairperson directed the EE (Works) of the Council to take immediate appropriate action so that the work could be completed in all respect within a period of 45 days.
