Port Blair, July 16: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) today cried foul over non-declaration of the written test results of Group-C post, conducted in 2012. In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary of A & N Administration the City President, Mr. S. Balaji mentioned that the results of the Group- C Examination conducted in February 2012 are yet to come out.
“More than 10,000 candidates had appeared from all over the islands against about 250 vacancies facing many odds and financial hiccups. The seats allotted to them was in a haphazard manner and in innumerous cases, the candidate of one Island had to travel to another Island to write the exam. They were never given any TA or DA and as such they had to bear their own expenditure. In many cases they had to beg and borrow. All they did with a hope of an employment and job,” Mr. Balaji said in his letter.
The BJYM president further said that if those 250 vacancies are filled and posted, it will not only create employment opportunity and family support for hundreds but also help the Administration to deliver better results with the increased Human Resource. Mr. Balaji requested the CS to declare of the results of the said examination as soon as possible.
Very good work by Andaman Sheekha team…and
Wish u very all the best Mr S.Balaji, City President, BJYM.
