Sri Vijaya Puram, October 29: In exercise of the powers conferred under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988), read with the Administration Notification dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman, has notified that, in view of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade to be organised by A&N Police on 31.10.2026 at Govt. Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Sri Vijaya Puram, traffic diversion and regulation of public movement will be implemented along the route from Dharamsala (SVPMC) to RK Mission Traffic Point via Govt. Girls’ Senior Secondary School.
Today and tomorrow, 29 and 30 October, the diversion will be in force from 0700 hrs to 0830 hrs and from 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs. On 31.10.2026, it will be in force from 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs.
The general public is requested to cooperate with the authorities and follow the traffic regulations to ensure the smooth conduct of the parade rehearsals and the final programme.
