Sri Vijaya Puram, October 25: In view of the ongoing festive season, the Directorate of Shipping Services has arranged additional ferry services between Sri Vijaya Puram and Mayabunder, Diglipur & Little Andaman to cater to the increased demand for passenger transportation during the festive period.
MV Rani Changa will sail from Sri Vijaya Puram to Little Andaman tomorrow at 0630 hrs, with the return voyage from Little Andaman to Sri Vijaya Puram tomorrow at 1300 hrs. MV North Passage will sail from Sri Vijaya Puram to Mayabunder on 27.10.2026 at 0630 hrs, with the return voyage from Mayabunder to Sri Vijaya Puram on 27.10.2026 at 1300 hrs. MV North Passage will also sail from Sri Vijaya Puram to Diglipur on 29.10.2026 at 0700 hrs, with the return voyage from Diglipur to Sri Vijaya Puram on 29.10.2026 at 2100 hrs.
For sailings scheduled on 26th, 27th and 29th October 2026, the Directorate of Shipping Services has announced the following ticket-release schedule. Tickets for the onward journey only for sailings on 26th & 27th October, 2026 were scheduled for release today at 0900 hrs, and tickets for the return voyage only for the sailing on 29th October, 2026 will be released tomorrow at 0900 hrs.
Tickets can be booked online through the DSS e-Ticketing Portal: https://dss.andamannicobar.gov.in/eticketing. For user convenience, a QR code linking directly to the portal is also available, a press note from the Deputy Director (SS), A & N Administration, said.
