Sri Vijaya Puram, October 25: The Department of Tourism, in association with the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM), Mumbai, is organising a comprehensive 6-day Training and Certification Programme for Homestay operators under the RAMP Scheme.
The training programme will be conducted from November 9 to 14, 2026 in the Training Hall of the Directorate of Disaster Management.
This initiative aims to empower existing homestay operators, aspiring homestay operators, and their staff with essential skills in homestay operations, room division housekeeping standards, guest management, and sustainable eco-friendly tourism practices.
