Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 29: A key meeting of the INTUC Federation was held at the RGPRS Wimberlygunj office recently, with INTUC Federation National President Mr. Swaminath Jaiswal as the chief guest and National Senior Vice President Dr. Rajesh Ghariyal as the guest of honour.
The meeting was organised in the presence of INTUC Federation National Secretary and Co-Incharge for Assam, Kerala and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Mr. O. Basheer, State President Mr. K. P. Usman, State Vice President Mr. Senthil Kumar, senior leaders and workers. Kanyapuram Pradhan Mr. P. Abdul Basheer, RGPRS State Organising Secretary Mr.M. Abdul Jaleel, RGPRS District President Mr. N. Gnanasekar, RGPRS District Organising Secretary Mr. Vinod and a large number of workers also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, workers raised various grievances, difficulties and important issues concerning the labour community before National President Mr. Swaminath Jaiswal. He listened to their concerns and assured the workers that necessary steps would be taken in their interest.
Mr. K. P. Usman, Mr. O. Basheer and Mr. Senthil Kumar also addressed the gathering and spoke about workers’ rights, their concerns and the need to further strengthen the organisation.
The meeting was described as constructive and positive, providing workers with an important opportunity to place their grievances and concerns directly before the national leadership. The meeting concluded in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere.
