Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 20: A delegation of Government Employees Federation, A&N Islands headed by its President, Mr. P.Kannan met the Chief Secretary in his chamber on 18/09/2026 and the delegation has congratulated him to become Chief Secretary of A&N Islands. The delegation also submitted a demand to Chief Secretary to appoint sufficient Junior Residents (Doctors) at GB Pant Hospital specially in clinical departments for the proper treatment and health care of patients. The Chief Secretary heard the demand and reportedly assured of taking immediate action in the matter. The President has expressed his gratitude to the Chief Secretary for the assurance given by him.
