Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 30: In a commendable community-driven initiative, Mr. Abdul Bashir, Zilla Parishad Member, Ferrargunj Constituency led a cleanliness and bush-clearing drive in and around Government Secondary School, Miletilak, with the active participation of students, teachers and parents.
The initiative was undertaken with the support and assistance of the Department of Forests & Environment, with the objective of improving the cleanliness, safety and overall surroundings of the school campus.
During the drive, unwanted bushes and vegetation in and around the school premises were cleared, creating a cleaner and more hygienic environment for the students and teaching staff. The active involvement of students, teachers and parents reflected a strong sense of community participation and collective responsibility towards maintaining a clean and healthy educational environment.
The Zilla Parishad appreciated the initiative and encouraged similar collaborative efforts in other educational institutions and public places for promoting cleanliness, environmental protection and community participation.
