Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 30: Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee–ANTCC, was called upon by a group of pick-up van drivers at Diglipur Bazaar to discuss the difficulties being faced by them in transporting essential commodities across the region.
The drivers apprised Mr. TSG Bhasker of the challenges related to weighbridges, which they said are causing inconvenience and affecting the smooth and timely transportation of essential goods.
After patiently hearing their concerns, Mr. TSG Bhasker assured the drivers that their genuine grievances would be taken up with the Transport Department and the concerned authorities for necessary consideration.
