Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 28: On the occasion of Rakshabandan, Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh in association with Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh celebrated Rakshabandan with Safai Mitra in all 24 wards.
The State President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Mrs. Venkat Laxmi took part in ward no. 22 i.e. Brichgunj. Mr. M. Veeranna, Ex State President, BMS joined the celebration at Ward no. 24. Representatives from all affiliated associations as well as representatives of State BMS were also part of the celebration in different wards. All the Safaimitra were tied Raksha Sootra and distributed sweets. Mr. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANRKM took part in ward no. 09 and 14. Mr. A. Vijay Nair, Finance Secretary celebrated at ward no. 03 and 07. The Pracharak of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Mr. Srihari alongwith inmates of VKA were also part of the celebration at ward no. 10 and 12.
All the Safaimitra felt very happy to accommodate them in the celebration. Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh is always working for the betterment of the working class.
