Sri Vijaya Puram Aug 20: A reputed name engaged in a wide range of socio-cultural activities in the Islands, Jhumurr, is set to introduce its latest initiative, ‘Saagar Vastrika,’ through a five-day exhibition of an exclusive women’s clothing collection from August 26 to 30, 2026, at the NABARD Colony – Community Hall, Goal Ghar, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The exhibition, which will remain open from 12 noon to 8.30 p.m. each day, is being organised by the House of Designing of Jhumurr and marks the launch of its new clothing brand, Saagar Vastrika. The exhibits will also be available for sale. Inspired by the sea and crafted with an emphasis on elegance, style and comfort, the collection seeks to offer women a distinctive range of apparel reflecting both traditional aesthetics and contemporary sensibilities.
The exhibition will showcase an array of products, including fine suit fabrics, ready-to-wear garments, traditional and designer sarees, and bed-sheets. The collection has been designed to cater to different occasions and preferences, combining graceful designs with practicality and comfort.
The organisers have highlighted exclusive design, premium quality and unique collection as some of the key features of the five-day exhibition. The event is expected to provide enthusiasts with an opportunity to explore a varied selection of women’s clothing and textile products under one roof.
