Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 02: Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee-ANTCC, met the aggrieved youths at Netaji Stadium.
The Administration had closed the stadium for 15 days in connection with preparations for the Independence Day programme. Generally, the stadium remains closed for only five days every year.
This has caused inconvenience to hundreds of youths preparing for the physical examination for police recruitment, who were denied entry to the stadium.
Mr. TSG Bhasker immediately intervened and met Mr. Ranjit Kumar, Assistant Director (Sports), requesting him to make alternative arrangements so that the practice sessions of the aspiring candidates are not affected.
Responding positively to the request, Mr. Ranjit Kumar agreed and made alternative arrangements immediately.
Mr. TSG Bhasker expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ranjit Kumar for his prompt response.
