
Sri Vijaya Purm, July 19: The Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman has informed all Access Pass Holders operating fishing vessels under the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Rules, 2025, that the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, vide Order No. 1102101/14/2025-Fy (E-26840) dated 20.01.2026, has notified the prescribed Voyage Report Formats to be submitted by fishing vessel owners/operators.
As per the said Order, the owner(s)/operator(s) of every fishing vessel shall furnish the Voyage Report in the prescribed format immediately upon completion of each fishing voyage/trip to the Registrar of Fishing Vessels (State Fisheries Department) of the concerned Port of Registry.
Accordingly, all Access Pass Holders are hereby directed to submit the Voyage Report in the prescribed format, annexed to the said Order, immediately after completion of every fishing voyage/trip, without fail, to the Registrar of Fishing Vessels of the concerned Port of Registry. For the convenience of stakeholders, the prescribed Voyage Report Format shall be made available for download on the official website of the Department of Fisheries/ A&N Administration and shall also be available at the Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman.
All Access Pass Holders are advised to ensure strict compliance with the above directions. Failure to submit the Voyage Report or any contravention of the provisions of the said Order shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone Rules, 2025, as stipulated in the Government of India Order. The cooperation of all Access Pass Holders is solicited to ensure effective implementation of the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone Rules, 2025.
