
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22: In a significant initiative aimed at empowering educators and supporting professional development, the SKSSF Andaman State Committee’s TREND Wing (Team Resources for Education and National Development) successfully conducted the CTET Mega Mock Test 2026 at two centres in the islands — Ummat Public School, Port Blair and IQRA Public School, Wimberlygunj.
The programme witnessed an encouraging response from the teaching community, receiving approximately 260 registrations, with nearly 170 candidates appearing for the examination. Notably, more than 90% of the participants were in-service Government Teachers, reflecting the growing enthusiasm among educators to enhance their qualifications and professional competencies.
The mock test was designed to provide aspirants with a realistic examination experience, enabling them to familiarize themselves with the latest CTET examination pattern. Participants benefited from hands-on OMR sheet practice, effective time management strategies, and a comprehensive assessment of their preparedness for the upcoming CTET examination.
Speaking on the occasion, SKSSF TREND representatives expressed their satisfaction with the overwhelming participation and highlighted the importance of continuous learning and professional excellence among teachers. They emphasized that qualified and well-trained teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of society.
