Sri Vijaya Puram, June 18: Bringing laurels to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. P. Sasi Kiran and Ms. Rishika Kumari Ekka, SAI residential trainees, have brought pride to the Islanders by winning the Bronze Medal in the C-2 Mixed Junior 500m event at the 36th National Canoe Sprint Junior Men & Women and Sub-Junior Boys & Girls Championships from 12 June to 14 June 2026, held at Sendh Lake, Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The athletes represented the Andaman & Nicobar Islands at the Championship and showcased exceptional teamwork, endurance, and determination throughout the competition, securing the Bronze Medal against strong participation from athletes representing various States and Union Territories across the country.
Their achievement stands as a testament to their hard work, dedication, the guidance and support of their coaches, and the excellent training environment provided by SAI STC, Sri Vijaya Puram.
