Sri Vijaya Puram, June 18: A meeting of Indian National Trades Union Congress (INTUC Federation) was held today under the leadership of Mr. TSG Bhasker, National Vice President, INTUC (Federation) and Mr. K.P. Usman, State President, INTUC (Federation).
The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from workers and union members representing Chatham Saw Mill, DSS Dockyard, Afloat Section, and various other departments.
On the occasion, all members extended their heartfelt congratulations to Mr. O. Bashir on his appointment as National Secretary of INTUC (Federation) and as Co In-charge of Assam, Keralam and A&N Islands.
The meeting also held detailed discussions on various issues concerning workers welfare and employment-related matters. The participants resolved to adopt a collective and constructive approach towards addressing and resolving their grievances through dialogue and coordinated efforts.
